I'm really surprised it took this long for US policy to recognize and soften on this. Yeah, military-enabled removals aren't what we're looking for in stable democracies, but this was about as legal an ouster as one can get. Three cheers for the Hondurans for sticking to their guns (and their laws).

Now once they hold their elections in Nov, we can reinstate the mil-aid and get back to business as usual.
