I would love to see the Pack get Vick

The guy deserves the fresh start and Green Bay, with a solid starter but no real back-ups, could really use him in that role and would likely get him on the field plenty in various spot roles.

The big competition is Pittsburgh, by all accounts. But nice to see the Packers thinking about it.

I agree Vick would be a good fit in the locker room. But Green Bay can be a rough environment for players with checkered pasts.

Having Vick in your offensive arsenal would be awesome, even if it is as a backup. But one has to believe this would be a 1 year deal.

And I have to believe Thompson and Company are thinking of the implications of how much more valuable he'd be to the rest of the NFC North after spending 1 year w/ the Pack.
