The obvious reason why immigrants are entrepreneurs

BOOK REVIEW: "Field of Dreams (Outcasts United, by Warren Saint John)," by SOMEBODY, Washington Post National Weekly Edition, 4-10 May 2009.
The call-out text here states a simple truth:
The xenophobes and protectionists who argue that immigrants cost jobs have it exactly wrong. Newcomers create jobs and they always have. A report by the Center for an Urban Future recently described immigrants as "entrepreneurial sparkplugs," and the reason is obvious. If they weren't risk-takers, they wouldn't be here.
America in a demographic/economic nutshell.

Yes we need immigrants but not a flood of them, no matter where they are from. Best analogy I can come up with is having a leaking pipe in your basement that floods the basement. The first thing is to turn off the water to stop the leak, Find and fix the leak. Clean up and turn the water back on.
Immigrants unwilling to assimilate are not helping. The flipside of that is a very complex immigration rule set that MUST be streamlined for any meaningful discussion and change to take place.
Stop the flood, fix the rule set and then enforce the rule set across the board.
