New Atlanticist Great Powers review series

The first post is entitled America and the World After Bush: A Look Back and the first thing I want to mention is this part:
Having read Barnett's previous books, as well has his eponymous weblog, over the years, I was somewhat surprised at how generous he was to the outgoing administration.
This is for those of you who have struggled to come along with Tom as he has written during the transition to a Democratic administration.
James has examples from the text, but I won't steal his thunder by copying them over here.

Third post: America and the World After Bush: Diplomacy and Security
In both posts James takes a lot of time relating what the chapters are about. Not much of his own opinion, yet (although we see a little in a comment on the third post).
