Having read Barnett's previous books, as well has his eponymous weblog, over the years, I was somewhat surprised at how generous he was to the outgoing administration.

This is for those of you who have struggled to come along with Tom as he has written during the transition to a Democratic administration.

In both posts James takes a lot of time relating what the chapters are about. Not much of his own opinion, yet (although we see a little in a comment on the third post).
