Tom,Next time you go to Gettysburg let me know. I had a very personal tour of that hallowed ground from General George Pickett's great great grandson. I was in awe. He lives in the Tidewater are of Virginia but a good tour and dinner might just get him back into Yankee territory.

Hi Tom!I was flattered when one of the commentors on my very new blog, "Guarding the Rubicon" said that you reviewed my review on your blog - Thanks!

Although I wouldn't at all say that I didn't like your book! I enjoyed it a lot and am probably best described as an "agnostic" in terms of your thesis - I buy a lot of it, but not all of it. Sorry if my post came across as harsh :)

I see you have some new stuff out - I'll have to pick that up.
