Pop!Tech files

Two Peter Durand illustrations of Tom's talk at Pop!Tech.

06-Superpowers.jpg

The first one is a combo from Tom's talk and Juan Enriquez (proxy vote).

I'll be sure to post a link to an mp3 or video of the talk as soon as I get it.

(And, if you like Ask A Ninja, or are open to liking it, you can see his answer to What is Pop!Tech? Best part: 'Anybody in this room who's not a robot...')

I was at Pop!Tech and Tom gave an awesome presentation. Not only was his content excellent, his presentation skills should be considered a best practice. I can't wait to study the presentation again for both reasons.

I like the first one the best. Although it seems to strike my wife as art portraying a bad look into the future. I suppose I can understand what she is talking about.

I use to have the same thoughts about the future, but after reading Dr. Barnetts book, I still have hope for our country knowing there are great minds at work. After reading his book and watching his breif on CSPAN, he made it clear to me what was really going on globally and the light finally turned on in my head. .

So instead of trying to talk out of my arse and explain to people what is going on, I always tell them to read these two great books. I don't feel so one dimensional anymore.

Too bad Pop Tech wasn't closer to Ann Arbor MI, I would have love to attended.
