Which teleconferencing stock? Pollycom (PLCM) YTD +22.5%, or ACT (ACT Teleconferencing) down 33.3%?
Just saying...
Don't forget about companies that provide bandwidth hardware, wired and celluar. All that video will require more bandwidth. Then again, stocks may be a bit frothy given the current state of the economy. Who knows.
Video Conferencing. A huge bust in the 80's. Technical types and bean counters thought it was better than sliced bread. No travel costs, no hotel rooms, no meals, really cool.
Ever work in New Buffalo in the winter? Or Minneapolis? Or Chicago? Want to sit in a windowless room in January and talk to a TV screen? Deals are made in person. Eyeball to eyeball. TV is for watching Sesame Street.
