Why we can't go light in Afghanistan

Reporting makes clear what will happen if we go light and abandon Afghanistan to the Taliban. We can't kill enough Al-Qaeda to make that formula work.

No argument from me there. However, unless we are committed to winning (and defining winning), then we DO need to pull out. There is no doubt in my mind if we put the full force of our military, as well as other departments behind the effort, we can 'win' this war. But, if we are not fully committed then we should pull out.
