It remains a clever approach that tries not to cross THE line while making it clear that Iran seeks a capacity to deter outside aggressors.

Iran seems a lot smarter than Stalin. He could have kept down the European anxiety that allowed Truman & Ike to re-build West Europe industry, economy, and defense capability if he had just played his nuke game wiser and quietly.

I wonder, did FDR's guys really not notice Stalin's spies trying to learn about our nuke projects, or was FDR more interested in keeping Stalin in the final rounds against Germany and Japan to reduce our casualties and keep morale up???
