Let's prioritize North Korea's demise

Tricky for Obama to have both North Korea and Iran experiencing such tumult at the same time.

Again, I see more near-term possibilities in North Korea, as I believe their whole system of rule crumbles with Kim's imminent death.

Would that Khamenei was so close . . .

Although I eagerly await the death of KJI and the North Korean regime, I am concerned that there is no plan to deal with the aftermath. I think that for years the plan was to wait it out and hope North Korea would fix itself as China has done or maintain itself long enough to be someone else's problem. However, as recent events in North Korea and photo's of post-stroke KJI show, the problem needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later.

Few folks agreed with George Marshall on letting China work out its own transformation experience. At least we gave best wishes to Russians in Gorbachev era, but little other practical assistance.
