Don't want to make too much of another USG paper drill, but it's a nice indicator of State trying to play up to DOD's level--a syncing effort, if you will.

With two such practical-yet-ambitious secretaries, we must all take advantage of this moment.

No Clinton (talent concentrated in Treasury) nor Bush (tilted to DoD/Veep) imbalance here.
