China's (tiny) peacekeeping role

Great trend, but note the tiny body commitment (2,000 from a million-plus-man military). China has the right instinct, but it's nowhere near approaching the commitment that could be described as "pulling its weight" globally.

Until Jan 1, 2009, the USA was doing all that . . But China is seeing that it's investments around the world might need more protecting than the US might be able to afford, and in little steps, is starting to do for itself what we have been doing internationally.

And as long as the Right sees it for what it is, and not an attempt to "take over the world", everything will be "Kosher" . .
