Priming the return of civil war to Iraq

WORLD: "Attacks affect Iran-Iraq ties: Suicide bombings prompt Tehran to restrict travel," by Aamer Madhani and Nadeem Majeed, USA Today, 29 April 2009.

Shia Iraqis claim al Qaeda is trying to re-ignite a civil war by targeting Iranian religious pilgrims. Iraq pulls in about 500,000 a year, so a pretty damn fat target.

I would expect to see plenty more of this, and not just al Qaeda ultimately being accused.
