Tom in the NL press

ARTICLE: 'Er komt een perestrojka in Iran', By Peter Schong, DePers.nl, March 26, 2009

How's your Dutch?

Article that came from an interview with Tom. Google Translator makes it look like a Dutch treatment of Tom's normal line on engaging Iran with soft power and defeating their authoritarianism like we did the USSR.

Well, my Dutch is excellent, so I can tell you that it is one of the better free daily newspapers, and from what I can tell, his articulation of Tom's vision on Iran is right on.

Apparently, my Dutch is excellent too!

I really did like the trip I took to Amsterdam (when pix were shot) and the deBalie (spell?) appearance. Very cool bunch, very cool state.

De Balie is indeed a cool place, although too little know amongst the general public. That we are a cool state, although starting to become a little Islamofobic as you may have heard. See politician Geert Wilders, his 'movie' and denial entry into the UK. The parties sceptical and weary of globalisation are the parties that won the most seats last election around.

We are at the forefront of the implementation of the 3D concept as you know, although we could use a little help with that in Uruzgan, Afghanistan, in terms of troop numbers. Perhaps you can enlighten us some more soon.
