Mullen-Obama will be good fit

Mullen is more system-oriented in his thinking, and thus more careful vis-a-vis the ambitions of the current administration.

I expect him to have a very solid and fruitful relationship with the like-minded Obama.

Blair and Mullen are both USNA '68 and SWOs. They've moved in many the same circles. I wonder if anyone would've ever guessed, as they grauated at the height of the war in Vietnam and embarked on their careers, that those two would one day be CJCS and DNI, respectively, in the administration of a then-six -year-old. Where was Obama living in 1968? Jakarta?
