The only election stuff that matters

Zogby Electoral College Update:
Obama 273, McCain 146, with 119 Votes Too Close to Call

As stated before, this sort of analysis (however you value Zogby) is the only election stuff that matters.

Obama increases his standing vis-a-vis McCain, moving two states from red to purple.

If you like that sort of analysis of the election, fivethirtyeight.com does similar and a lot more in depth work.

Pollster John Zogby's analysis: "For the time being, Obama maintains the edge and has the strength of a majority of electoral votes. His triumphant foreign trip allows him to continue to define this race. But too many of these states are close and a sizable number are undecided or choosing a third party candidate. So there is a lot of fluidity." http://www.zogby.com/50state/

I know that your an Obama voter, but to be honest this poll really doesn't show any sort of favorite either way. Two states go from purple to red (AZ, AR) and two go from red to purple (FL, SD).

What is interesting is that with the supposed success of the Obama foreign trip he hasn't gotten much out of it here at home where it counts. He really has to be careful not to appear as if he thinks he is President already this year has seen the downfall of the early front runners (Guilani, Hillary). Americans want to have a say in the election and they seem to punish candidates that either assume too much or who the media tries to thrust upon them.

To back up the above comment, 538 is the best site for polling, not run by either side and with no real dogs in the fight. Just real statistical analysis.
