We will see this in spades--efficiency as the answer

ARTICLE: "Japan Sees A Chance to Promote Its Energy-Frugal Ways," by Martin Fackler, New York Times, 4 July 2008, p. A6.

The West got rich when resources were cheap. Now the New Core's stunning growth and the looming doubling of the global middle class as a percentage of world population forces us all to reconsider our use of all resources, but especially energy.

The good news, as Amory Lovins loves to point out, is that there are huge efficiencies waiting to be nabbed out there--serious money savers and thus money makers.

Watch Japan, long conscious of this reality because it's a microcosm of the future world with its crowded, resource-intensive lifestyle, step to the forefront, making tons of money as a result.

The Departments of Commerce, Energy and Defense have been prototyping and testing more efficient and less polluting means of producing and transmitting electrical energy (like high temp superconductivity) for some time. The Commerce Department promoted international technical specs for related products.

More recently, DOD has been promoting technologies for coal and natural gas conversions to transport fuel. All of these technologies are being shared with countries in Asia and elsewhere.

Now that energy costs are understood to have permanently increased to a significant degree with globalization, these new technologies are cost effective. So, these U.S. energy material and technology companies can do very well with new Core and old Core partners while Congress and media continue to moan and debate our domestic energy policies.

Breaking News: American media, politicians, and investors 'surprised and shocked' at falling values of 'safe' and high returns from housing and related experimental financial investments. Investors hold onto cash dropping interest earnings for average folks. BUT SOON the media, politicians and investors will realize the opportunities that come with the energy woes and the transformation will really get going.

How can I get the rights to the movie script about this 'unbelievable' story?
