OMIGOD why are you in South Dakota?--and the Corn Palace in Mitchell? I love the place, but frankly I think the decorations of the past have it way over what they have been doing lately-- did you check out the postcards with decorations since19---? Hope you get a chance to really see the state. Do NOT miss the Badlands-- a MUST!
When you get home curl up with the wife and watch "Fargo" again.
Looks like a trip we did a few years ago. Spend time at Custer SP in the Black Hills, it should be a national park. Hit the Homestake mine as well. Of course, drive through Iowa and spend time at one of the best universities in the world, Iowa State (1st land grant, birthplace of digital computer, 1st to enrich uranium chemically for the Manhatten Project). Go Cyclones!

Ya sure ya betcha.
Love the Black Hills. Spent many happy hours there rock climbing and sight seeing. A real gem springing out of the Great Plains as it does.
