And this would be good except he's still focused just on the traditional "suck-up" politics of the Democrats: "You are all victums and I'm the one to make things better." He needs some of the facilitation perception of Ross Perot. Unfortunately there is no fundamental rule change. The focus is on the FORM, but it's still following the old FUNCTION.

Obama's presence on the web includes two photos of Che in campaign offices, a remarkably arrogant Great Seal of Obama, and a generally tin ear to web issues. I think you missed the mark on this one.

Everything always happens: Obama is a black swan anomaly yet inevitable in hindsight, and the Furman signal guaranteed "traditional'suck-up' politics" ends. Campaign finance reform tends to violate free speech and benefit no one but incumbents.

I agree that the Republicans need to learn how to work the Internet. I believe it is an age thing. Young Web 2.0 types, doing what they do naturally to raise money though the internet.

Too young to remember the Carter years. They will have to learn the hard way.
