What if America could become Energy Independant, in short order. Would the high cost of Energy Independance offset the high cost of Defense against Terror Sponsored States (TSS). If D.Morris is correct and we see failed TSS due to falling oil revenues, then shouldn't we invest heavy now, boost/create USA economies, and cripple the TSS SOB's on the way down, while the kicken is still good. simple thoughts...

Can we apply this analysis to Gov. Palin? She is pretty much been working from the same play book (populism + big oil and gas revenue).
