More at http://www.worldvaluessurvey.org/ - started in 1995 every 5 yrs world values survey maps world cultures on two axis: survival - self expression and traditional - secular/ratonal.
Vadim: My experience in Korea would lead me to question the accuracy of placing Korea so highly in the 'secular/rationalistic' portion of the graph, especially given the author's definitions. Abortion and divorce are rather widely practiced and accepted here, but traditional (Korean/Confuician) family values, deference to authority, and especially nationalism also run very deep.
