Good to be me

Hey, it just occurred to me: I recently passed my two year anniversary of working as Tom's webmaster. Pretty fun stuff.

6032 posts (more than half on my watch). 8778 comments (all on my watch).

Here's to more great years, including the publishing of volume 3!

Reader Comments (11)

Congrats on your 2nd year anniversary.

You have done an awesome job making this one of the best blogs.

Looking forward to many more years ahead.

Sean, you've been great. You respond to each and every annoying question or comment us readers have about the site in a very quick manner yet somehow still have time to do all the techy stuff behind the scenes.

But most of all, I'm grateful for the way you've helped create a little community among the readers here. Many of us, myself included, have pursued blogging after a little prodding from you and a lot of us communicate with each other as well. It's a great way for us to discuss "Gap Shrinkonomics" and develop our thinking!

Thanks Sean!

Sean:

I don't know a damn thing about computers so I have to admire anyone who does. I check this site almost every day and try to put my 2 cents in when I can. Good job!

So how does it feel to have to mediate the debates and clashes of egos on here? Does breaking up fights between your kids become a form of relaxation?

A blog at its best is a conversation not a monologue. This blog is the former, to everyone's benefit.

Sean makes that two-way traffic possible and effective, both by hard (tech) skills and soft (people) skills.

Tom and his readers are very well served by that combination of talents.
