Nice interview by Kaplan that makes a lot of great points re: reality of SysAdmin work on the ground.

Also nice to hear him speaking so ... I dunno ... so non-confrontationally about the Chinese now.

Kaplan says that:

(1) The bodies will come from Gap countries (local Gap is used to fight local Gap -- as was done in days past).

(2) There will be "peaceful competition" with China in the Gap -- not "peaceful cooperation."

Can this get the job done (transforming the Gap) or are there flaws to this approach?
