Islam's not the problem

Yet another sign that Islam per se is not the problem--at least not in Asia. That leads one to believe it's Middle Eastern/Arab culture that's the problem.

Much like the Boomers, they see politics as absolute zero-sum.

Bingo! Culture existed long before Islam. Islam - for awhile - gave legitimacy to the cultural extremes - while providing a common cause and external mission to (for awhile) focus those extremes toward outside world rather than local competition.

Christianity had some similar traits after it became Romanized , but it is trying to overcome them.
