DPRK missile launches trigger parity with US

Now our failed missile defense is matched by Pyongyang's failed long-range missile offense. Symmetry achieved!

How is it you determine the US missle defense is a failed one?

In fact, the latest test made public apparently was a success as reported by the AP.

Written just before the last test, but still very relevant imo:

Ah, here's the followup on that last post:

US missile defense has failed every test it's ever been subjected too, including--in many ways--even the rigged ones.

As for the successful launch in the DPRK, gotta like those odds!

And the AP report of the June 22 test was what? Propoganda?

I know, and understand, you don't like big ticket military projects as it promotes the 'near-peer' war mindset, but I think missle defense is one that makes sense. Look at what DPRK has accomplished being so very isolated from the rest of the world. What could a more connected but relatively equally unbalanced country accomplish?
