Tom around the web

+ Looney Dunes compares and contrasts Tom and John.

+ In referring to Tom's article on energy independence, chiasm coins a hip hop name for Tom: T-Barn. I like it. But aren't such names normally written without the dash: TBarn? ;-)

+ Phil Windley of Technometria links Tom's post on the Mumbai bombings as 'a very rational view on what terrorism really means'.

+ Tom's analysis of the current increase in Middle Eastern violence being Iranian pre-emptive war gets picked up by Defense Tech.

If I missed something, please let me know.

Sean:

Thanks for the linkback

Waaaayyyy behind in my reading

Looks like you "populate" the blog with more links
Which I happen to think is good.

BTW : are you familiar with NYTimes permalinks?
http://nytimes.blogspace.com/genlink

Handy tool, keeps links "live" after the page passes into the archives (aka Pay Per View)

Both you and Tom ... keep up the good work(s)
Road time this week, will try to catch up more later.

Ciao

I tried being more of a "pointer" on the blog and I got a lot of complaints from readers who said they came to read what I wrote, not get links.

So I cut back and got happier as a result. Now, with sked, there is no way I can be the sort of trolling blogger who does a lot of linkage. Just not possible.

John: no idea what 'nah meng' means, but you've got a good point with that link.

JTH: you're welcome. given your analysis, you would think the 'population' was good, right? ;-) not really my job, so to speak, just something i started doing as a way to highlight stuff i find that links. also, a mild 'thank you'.

hadn't seen the NYT on blogspot. thanks for that. and for the 'good work'.

TPMB: and remember, we like you just the way you are ;-)

Tbarn,

Cool pimp name. Anyhoo, you missed it on "Iran's Pre-Emptive War". Can you say "sayanora Hizb'allah"? Somehow I don't think that's what Iran had in mind when they launched their so-called p-war. I believe it's called underestimating your opponent...something totalitarians are good at.
