Good argument that the Obama administration should simply let our diplomats--at all levels--interact with Iran's opportunistically, rather than keeping all our eggs in the summit/senior-level basket. In other words, continue dialing down rhetoric and avoid ramping up expectations and coverage:

The time for exchanges of presidential correspondence and even face-to-face meetings may come. But that is not where to begin.

Start small, then proceed as events warrant. I like this logic a lot.
