Two obvious data points that say there is no global economy sans U.S. involvement: 1) exports plummeting in China and India's service sector losing out to reverse-sourcing. Point being: ain't no such thing as an independent "rise of the rest." They rise within our international liberal trade order, where we--for now--remain the only demand center capable of sustaining globalization's advance.
