Good example of why I don't care for the militarization of global warming's "threat": spy satellites redirected to watch environmentally-stressed areas. This mind-set only opens the door for raiding the DoD budget for bucks and bodies for non-security issues. But you can say: "Everything relates to security!" Yes, but not every security tool relates to everything. Interagency can't just be robbing Peter to pay Paul.
