What's your position on bad things?

ARTICLE: Defense Department Establishes Civilian Expeditionary Workforce, By Gerry J. Gilmore, American Forces Press Service, Jan. 27, 2009

Why start this in DoD? Bucks and bodies, my friends, two reasons why it will never really take off in State--in addition to the ideological divide between diplomats and soldiers (diplomats do whatever they can to avoid bad things and soldiers do everything they can to get ready for them--and never the twain shall meet).

Clearly something to keep an eye on, and yet another piece to the puzzle that I have called the SysAdmin function.

I especially like all the fine print points at the bottom of this piece. They show DoD is serious about doing this right.
