Good sales
According to Putnam, "Sales are healthy, moving, re-ordering . . .." All good stuff.
No, the book did not crack the NYT list in its first full week, despite our best efforts (for which I am most grateful to all of you). So we settle for the WAPO list for the four-day opening, which is plenty good, given my desired audience.
But we wait and see. PNM didn't score NYT until its sixth week and scored WAPO eight full months post-release. Both appearances were totally CSPAN-driven. For now, GP is selling about like PNM did in its first week, so we hope for whatever build may follow.
You keep plugging away. We wait on the CSPAN taping to surface. I have two columns with MSM papers, awaiting pub (no guarantees). I don't get the bulk orders that other authors have managed to engineer, so it's all about selling listeners and readers one appearance after another.
