Tricky one for West as Russia will do its damnedest to keep Moldova in its orbit, using Transnistria (the thin slice on the border with Ukraine that has a heavy Russian contingent and seeks autonomy) as the fulcrum of pressure.

Still, always nice to see the communist party lose.
