Sticking to the Canon

Have begun playing piano again.

My old piano teacher, back in RI, passed away, and it's been years since I fiddled, but it does make me very happy.

I am "remastering" my Pachalbel's Canon in D. I play it very slowly, because I must, and because I find the chords amazingly beautiful.

To play it again is like sitting with a very dear and very old friend with whom I had lost contact.

I will someday own a very nice grand piano and play it daily in my retirement. Other than dying off-planet, this is my only self-focused goal in life.
