FRONT PAGE: "Ginsburg: The court needs another woman: Panel's lack of diversity wears on female justice," by Joan Biskupic, USA Today, 6 May 2009.

Ginsburg cites the story of the 13-year-old girl strip-searched at school for drugs. She was aghast while too many of the male Supremes were like, "Big deal, I didn't like the locker room in junior high either."

It seems inconceivable that Obama doesn't bolster the female quotient on the Supreme Court. Having only one is just plain weird in this day and age.

And since you want somebody for the non-straight crowd and for the rising Hispanic tide, I stand by my choice.
